Reality, as we know it, is fractal.

This means that in our universe can be found simple, basic patterns repeated everywhere on every scale, with representations not only in our "physical" reality but also in the intangible, invisible, elusive world of human consciousness.

Man spends his entire lifetime cultivating an identity, and to do so he must establish the location at which he finds himself on the cosmic fractal. In a fractal reality, position is everything, because the "big picture" looks the same at whatever magnitude or microtude you view it. You have to figure out what's above you and what's below you in size and scale and importance and significance. You are a God over some things, and some things are God over you. You get to figure out what's what, and decide which metaphors are most meaningful to you.

Just like the universe and everything that grows within it, you are a fertilized seed, branching out and growing like a tree. But like all things in a universe of entropy, you have a beginning and an ending. You are finite. Your body and mind travel from birth on a spiral path into total subjectivity, peaking and then exiting through a contracting spiral path into total objectivity.

With self-realized understanding of the basic pattern that is at the very heart and root of what we call "external reality" comes a certain peace of mind and a feeling of release, a feeling of triumph, and a feeling of freedom to truly enjoy experience for its own sake.

The pages of this site are populated with quotations from many books, websites, even emails that I have received over the last few years. Where possible, I have included links to where this information can be found on the web, and I hope that you will be inspired to do some further exploration on the topics discussed. These excerpts help to explain my views, and I have presented them here because I consider these thought-provoking explanations to be concise and easy to understand. I am hoping that visitors to my site will recognize from reading these texts the connections that I have come to find self-apparent in reality.
